After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

- Mark 1:14-15 (NIV)

There are over 40,000 words that Jesus said recorded in the bible, if you take out the duplicates, we are left with close to 20,000. Why is it then that so few people truly understand the things Jesus did, said and taught? If you have have questions about who Jesus was or what He did (and lets face it, who doesnt?) then we invite you to join us on our Lenten Journey this year.

In life, our attitude and actions can result from the content we put in our hearts and minds, so in our search to discover our identity and connection to God, we can study God's word for ourselves and pray. Below, we've included a 30-day reading plan designed to give you an overview of the gospels, which depict the life of Jesus as he shares God's message with the world. You will also find a prayer guide with simple prompts to help you engage with God through prayer during this time. You can access these resources by clicking the links below the corresponding images.
